Bozena Angelova

Was born in Maribor (Eslovenia) in 1981. She started her violin studies at the age of seven with her father. She continued them in 1994 in the Kaerntner Landeskonservatorium in Klagenfurt (Austria) with professor Helried and obtained her degree in 2001 with the highest marks.

She continued her studies afterwards at Berna University (Switzerland) with the world renoun professor Igor Ozim, carrying on in 2003 with the Prof Ozim at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.

She has wide experience in orchestras such as the Maribor Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kaerntner Symphony Orchestra (Austria) and the Slovenische Philharmonische Orchester.

She has been awarded four times the Slovenia National Music Award. She has also won several international violin competitions like the "Alpe Adria" competition in Italy. Recently Miss Angelova was awarded second prize at the world famous "Johannes Brahms" violin competition in Austria.

Complementary to her university education, she has attended many courses by prestigious professors like: Igor Ozim, Thomas Brandis, Tibor Varga, Evgenia Tchugaeva, M. Mintschev and Siegmund Nissel.

Apart from her solo career, Miss Angelova has a broad interest in chamber music where she has played with soloists like Irena Grafenauer, Mate Bekavac, Stanko Arnold and Radovan Vlatkovic in the International Chamber Music Festival in Maribor. She also recieved the Bled Contemporary Music Festival Award (Slovenia). She has recorded for Slovenian Broadcasting Company.

 

Daniel Fuster Navarro

Was born in Paiporta (Valencia) in 1976. He started his musical education at the age of eight at the EMI (Escuela de Música e Interpretación) in Paiporta. He continued his studies at the Valencia Conservatory under the guidance of Jesús Fuster and Francisco Salanova, finishing all the courses with distinction and being awarded the Prize of Honour of the Elementary and Middle Grade and a Mention of Honour at the completion of his studies.

He carried on his studies under the guidance of Jesús Fuster following the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (London) syllabus, obtaining his LSRM with distinction. He has attended courses with the most omportant oboists of our times: Albrecht Mayer, Washington Barella, Emmanuel Abbühl and Hansjörg Schellenberger.

He has worked for long with the oboist Stefan Schilli, soloist of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunk.

Two years ago he moved to Leipzig to carry out his posgraduate studies under the guidance of Prof. Christian Wetzel in the prestigious Felix Mendelssohn Musikhochschule, Leipzig.

Since then he went in to form part of the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, one of the most important orchestras of the world, which has allowed him to work with conductors like Riccardo Chailly, Herbert Blomstedt and Daniel Harding and with world reknown soloists such as Frank Peter Zimmermann, Sara Chang and Kim Kashkashian.
